Jin & Tones – Workshop Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all participants of our charcoal drawing workshops. By booking a session, you agree to the following:
1. Bookings & Payment
All bookings must be made in advance and are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
Invoices for corporate or private bookings will include all agreed-upon fees, including any travel or additional setup costs if applicable.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled workshop are eligible for a full refund minus a 20% administrative fee.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop are non-refundable, as materials and time will have already been allocated.
In the unlikely event that Jin & Tones must cancel the workshop, a full refund will be provided or the booking can be rescheduled.
3. Changes & Rescheduling
Date changes are permitted up to 7 days prior to the workshop, subject to availability.
We’ll always do our best to accommodate changes, but rescheduling is not guaranteed.
4. Workshop Environment
Our workshops are designed to be calm, creative, and encouraging. All participants are expected to behave respectfully toward the facilitator and one another.
We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if their behaviour disrupts the workshop experience for others. No refund will be issued in such cases.
5. Alcohol Policy
If your company or venue permits, you are welcome to provide or consume alcohol during the workshop, similar to a "paint and sip" experience.
Jin & Tones does not supply or serve alcohol, nor are we liable for any incidents arising from its consumption. Responsibility remains with the individual and/or host venue to comply with all relevant liquor laws and policies.
Participants are expected to drink responsibly. If behaviour becomes disruptive due to alcohol, the workshop may be terminated at the facilitator’s discretion without refund.
6. Materials & Equipment
All necessary materials (including high-quality paper and willow charcoal sticks) are provided unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.
Participants are encouraged to wear clothing that can handle a bit of charcoal dust—we embrace the messiness of creativity!
7. Photography & Promotion
We may occasionally take photos during workshops to use for promotional purposes (social media, website, etc.). Please let us know before the workshop if you prefer not to be included in any images.
8. Liability
Jin & Tones is not liable for any personal injury or damage to property during the course of the workshop. Please be mindful of your surroundings and materials.
